Mt. Fox Rural Fire Brigade

The Mount Fox Rural Fire Brigade is a volunteer-run emergency service organisation operating in the remote community of Mount Fox within the Hinchinbrook Shire, Queensland.

 

The brigade is among the first in Queensland to receive advanced satellite communications technology to maintain reliable connections in remote areas with limited mobile coverage. This rollout forms part of a $5 million state commitment for over 400 rural brigades.
