The Mt. Fox region is under serious attack.
Proposed within wilderness along the Seaview Range are Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), wind factories, high voltage transmission lines, substations, workers' camps and vast new haulage roads punched through some of the best unprotected high elevation remnant forests left in the state.
This is a completely unacceptable project consisting of 68 wind towers with over 600ha of remnant forests to be cleared. Delicate ridges and mountain tops are to be blasted out with explosives.
Twelve endangered species to be severely impacted, including the Red Goshawk.
Atop the magnificent Seaview Range, a project so obscene that it should have never been considered.

The details of this project are sketchy, as are most renewable projects, but this will never be acceptable to our community.
If it wasn't for the astute eyes of our supporters, we would never know this crazy project is even in the pipeline.
The number of wind towers is unknown at this stage, but it will be the final nail in the coffin for the Sharman's Rock-wallabies.
Thus far, a BESS has been stopped from being built in the sensitive catchment of Michael Creek.
A successful legal challenge against the Hinchinbrook Shire Council led to the withdrawal of the BESS.
However, these developers cannot be trusted, and we are here to fight it every step of the way if resubmitted.
